Event Details

August, a seemingly healthy eight year old, walked to school one day last year. Around noon, his neck started to hurt. Six hours later, he was paralyzed in three limbs. The next morning, he was in the ICU on a ventilator fighting a rare neurological illness called Acute Flaccid Myelitis. Grant and Stacy McNall, August’s parents and local nurses, share their family’s journey in an effort to increase awareness about this serious condition and to thank the Janesville community for its support.
