Event Details

Join us for the first program in the Parenting Connections series called Autism 101.  This is a free workshop for parents, family members and caregivers of newly diagnosed children and anyone interested in learning about Autism Spectrum Disorder. Attendees will receive informational materials including parenting resources, diagnosis information, helpful school tips, community resources and more.

 The programs in the Parenting Connections series provide resources to caregivers of youth with special needs at the Hedberg Public Library in partnership with Family Respite Care Services and the Autism Society of South Central Wisconsin.  Registration is encouraged.  Light snacks will be provided.

 Childcare will be available to youth with special needs and/or siblings under 8 years old.  Limited childcare is available.  Please contact Family Respite Care Services at 608-758-0956 or to sign-up for childcare or for additional childcare information.  Special activities will be provided by Family Respite Care Services and library staff.
